Rocky (Ring: K93)

Sex: Male.
Weight: 9.0 kg.
Rocky was first recorded at Caerlaverock as a cygnet on 29 October 2005 with parents Balmae (SJ7) and Balcary (97L) and siblings L73 and V79. He was ringed for the first time at Caerlaverock on 15 December 2005 and departed on spring migration in early April 2006. Although his summer haunts are not known he has returned to Caerlaverock every winter since his first arrival and was also spotted at Lough Beg, Northern Ireland on 30 October 2008, en route to Scotland. He was caught again on 10 December and was fitted with a satellite transmitter.
